Your San Antonio Philharmonic proudly begins its third season with Kauyumari by one of today’s foremost Mexican composerS, Gabriela Ortiz. Hometown favorite Nancy Zhou at the violin will mesmerize with Johannes Brahms' Violin Concerto in D major. You will then be enthralled by the Four Sea Interludes from Britten’s operatic masterwork, one of the enduring monuments of 20th century music, Peter Grimes. This powerful evening will be closed out with the timeless Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.
