Kick off the season with this technicolor concert, starting with the brilliant fanfare of the Light Cavalry Overture, the vibrant and kinetic rhythms of the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, and the miraculous transformation of a Spanish dance in Ravel’s Bolero. Young Sun Choi, Bronze Medalist of the 2024 Gurwitz International Piano Competition, dazzles in Liszt’s magnificent Piano Concerto No. 1.
