Tchaikovsky’s Second Symphony is an early masterpiece that famously draws from the folk melodies of Ukraine, while Mozart’s 5th and final violin concerto pays tribute to the Turkish music that was all the rage in Vienna. Nancy Zhou, a San Antonio native and the winner of the 2018 Shanghai Isaac Stern Violin Competition, returns.
